The Florida State University National Black Alumni recognizes the importance of culturally relevant travel and exploration! The historical significance of Ghana cannot be overlooked or denied, and we are happy to present this opportunity hosted by African Roots Travel to visit the Motherland in 2023!
Tour Information
Tour Price
Single Occupancy $5500 pp
Double Occupancy $4100 pp

Tour Deposit
A $500 deposit will be due by August 19, 2022, to secure your spot. Limited Ghana Homecoming Tour spots are available.

Payment Plans
A monthly installment plan will be created after FSUBA members submit their tour deposits. Monthly payment links will be emailed to the group members from ART admin partner Showtime Travel based in Atlanta, GA which collects all payments at www.showtimetravel.com.
Credit card authorization is available for group members who prefer automatic payment.

Travel Insurance
ART encourages all group members to purchase emergency travel insurance covering unexpected emergencies such as flight cancellations/delays, medical emergencies, or unforeseen incidents on the trip.

Cancellation Policy
Due to relationships with Ghana Vendors, ART pays for all tour events excursions & events
In advance to guarantee professional quality service and expectations are met. Unfortunately, these relationships don’t allow ART to offer refunds on tour fees. Tour payments are 100 % nonrefundable.

Valid passport (6 months from expiration)

Air Travel
Flights are not included in the tour price.
ART is currently working to schedule a group flight for all FSUBA members with Delta Airlines once after the deposit deadline.

Nonstop Delta Flights depart from JFK Airport (JFK) at 11:45 pm EST to Kotoko Airport (ACC) at 2:25 pm the next day. Nonstop flights to Ghana are approximately 14 Hours.

Expedited airport checkout and ground transport airport pickup and dropoff will be available for all FSUBA Group Members who have registered for Ghana Homecoming
